Overview

We are specialists in the SCADA field for renewable energy. Our Specialists ensure great customer satisfaction through proactive service and maintenance, servicing our customers’ SCADA systems, including our own products (OneView), OEM SCADA, substation SCADA, servers, and network infrastructure.

As our new SCADA Specialists in the Service team, you will be a key problem-solver, ensuring that our customers always experience high system reliability. As you will be supporting customers in the German-speaking market, you will need to have great German language skills so you can communicate fluently with customers to solve highly advanced SCADA issues.

Your role

You will join a team of highly skilled specialists from across our offices in Poland, Denmark, Germany, and the U.S., who have vast experience within SCADA systems and deliver high-end service for our customers on a daily basis. Your contribution to the team would be your technical understanding of wind turbines and expertise within SCADA, providing service and maintenance on a variety of SCADA systems and associated infrastructure for our customers across the German-speaking region.

Your main responsibilities as our SCADA Specialist will be to:

• troubleshoot advanced SCADA issues.
• develop and implement customized solutions tailored to customers’ SCADA requirements.
• 2nd level support on our own products and 3rd party software.
• remote and on-site service support, and 24/7 service support worldwide.

Your background

The ideal candidate for this position:

• is familiar with OEM wind turbine SCADA systems and SCADA network security.
• has a vast knowledge of various communication protocols.
• demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills.
• is service-minded and great at interacting with customers.
• communicate fluently in English and German.
• takes pride in the quality of deliveries and is used to working within tight deadlines.

The person we are looking for is motivated by getting their hands on many different types of tasks, has substantial technical insights, and is excited by the idea of working on large and complex projects in an agile and growing organization, working to empower the renewable industry.

We imagine that you have extensive experience working in renewables or the automation industry. Your educational background is preferably a degree as Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, and we expect that you have 2+ years of direct work experience with SCADA systems.

You are familiar with communication protocols including OPC, DNP3, Modbus, IEC 104, OPC XML, and serial communication, and you are able to quickly learn and understand the IT infrastructure in different customer set-ups and how to integrate SCADA systems into existing IT enterprises solutions.
