6 step UME process

1. Pre-study 

Requirements analysis and definition of modeling scope.

2. Simulink development 

Development of Simulink model representing the component. 

3. Source code generation

Generation of the model source code from Simulink model and integrated in a DLL. 

4. Wrapper development 

Development of the model wrapper and component for each simulation tool enabling data exchange and runtime communication between the software tool and the model source code. 

5. Testing and validation 

Parameterization and testing of each tool-specific model in a standardized test environment delivered to the client. 

6. Model benchmark  

Comparison of all simulation tool results. Test grids and operating conditions are replicated to ensure consistency.
