Infrastructure Consultant

About the job

We are looking for a highly experienced Infrastructure Consultant focusing on Kubernetes on-prem solutions to join our team at Opoura. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 10 years of experience in the energy sector and understands the opportunities and limitations in an Operational Technology (OT) -world.

The role

The role of Infrastructure Consultant typically includes the following:

• Lead and implement Kubernetes on-prem solutions for our clients in the energy sector.
• Virtualization (VMware and/or KVM).
• Networking (CCNP level or very much experience).
• Experience with network overlay (Cilium / Flannel /Multus etc.).
• DevOps automation experience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure infrastructure and network design aligns with project goals.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures.

Background

To excel in this role, we imagine you have:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the energy sector.
• Extensive experience in Kubernetes on-prem solutions.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure and network concepts, including CCNA/CCNP certification.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Experience in Agile and Safe methodologies.
