In the Grębów Commune, Solartech is developing one of the largest solar PV farms in Poland. As a leading EPC contractor in the Polish PV industry, Solartech is carrying out the project in three phases.
The first phase of project Jeziórko, which the site is called, is already completed and adds 50 MW to the grid with 100,000 modules, each producing over 500 watts. A second 50 MW is currently under construction, and the full site is expected to reach 220 MW, supplying clean energy to approximately 125,000 households.
This large-scale project is a cornerstone of Solartech’s efforts to accelerate the energy transition in Poland, and it reflects a nationwide push for dynamic solar PV development – a journey Opoura is proud to support.
For this project, Opoura has delivered the OneView® Solar Park Controller Plus along with the OneView® Park SCADA – technologies that are essential to efficiently operate and manage the farm’s 400 inverters.
“Today, the challenge is not to find ways to generate renewable energy. We have the technologies available. The challenge is how we manage renewable energy in an efficient and reliable manner. And we know that the people at Opoura are experts in this area. Their advanced solutions are key to achieving our goals of green energy and sustainability. So, we are thrilled to work with Opoura on this pioneering project ”, says Bartłomiej Zysiński, CEO at Solartech
Opoura’s robust monitoring and control capabilities help the farm operate at peak performance, maximizing energy production and system efficiency. The use of bifacial modules, which capture both direct and reflected sunlight, further boosts output, making the farm even more productive.
This collaboration between Solartech and Opoura is a great example of how strong partnerships can accelerate the transition to renewable energy.
Tackling utility-scale solar challenges
Managing a large-scale solar PV project like Jeziórko comes with its own set of challenges – both technical and strategic:
Phased build-out
With construction spanning multiple phases, ensuring consistency and system scalability across each stage is critical.
High inverter count
Operating 400 inverters requires a robust and reliable control setup to ensure stable grid integration and maximum uptime.
Future-proofing performance
The goal of reaching 220 MW requires a system that can adapt to future expansion without compromising efficiency.
Advanced control for optimized solar performance
Solartech selected Opoura not just for our technology, but for our ability to ensure smooth operations and high output from day one:
Unified control and monitoring
The OneView® Solar Park Controller Plus and Park SCADA provide complete visibility and control over all assets, spanning both current and future development stages.
Performance optimization
Intelligent monitoring ensures that all 100,000+ panels perform at their best, with early issue detection and performance optimization.
Built-in scalability
Our platform is designed to scale seamlessly, helping Solartech meet its 220 MW ambition with confidence.
