27.6 MW
In 2025, Opoura has taken part in a project with a 27.6 MW solar park in Hawaii that was undergoing a critical upgrade. The plant’s original systems were no longer supported, the software had reached end-of-life, and there had been no network in place for OT or SCADA support. Without intervention, reliability and compliance would be at risk.
To address this, the customer is implementing the OneView® Solar Plant Controller Plus as the solar plant control replacement. The new solution is upgrading outdated equipment with a modern control platform designed to meet both the operator’s needs and regulatory requirements.
Simple and advanced solar plant control – all at once
This modernization is actively improving how the plant operates, ensuring higher reliability and compliance while reducing risks tied to outdated equipment:
Solid future foundation
The solution is designed to fully align with the operator’s requirements while also ensuring compliance, creating a solid foundation for secure and dependable performance.
Proactive approach
24/7 service support combined with proactive lifecycle management can give the operator confidence that potential issues will be addressed before they impact production.
Reliable control access
Reliability has been significantly strengthened, with fewer controller-related failures and a reduced risk of generation loss due to downtime.
This modernization shows how replacing end-of-life equipment with a robust solar plant control solution can help secure dependable, future-ready solar production.
